Hello!

Hello, my name is Sandra Bottinelli and I want to help you with your painting!

Are you having problems with a specific work or trying to start something new but are stuck? Looking for a critique of your work or looking to improve your painting skills? I am offering remote, one-on-one advice and assistance while you work on one of your own paintings in real time. I can help you with composition, color, ideas or anything your painting may be needing. I have helped artists of all levels work through problem areas of their work and have done so via zoom and/or text.

I am a nationally and internationally collected painter, with a working studio in Asheville, NC. I’ve been painting for 27 years in subjects ranging from realism to abstract, classically done to the more modern. I studied for my art degree at the University of Michigan and the University of Barcelona, Spain. To see my portfolio, click here.

How it works:

Book a time slot that suits you. I offer 1 hour and 2 hour increments at $25/hr. During this time you and your work will have my undivided attention. Prior to our meeting, I would like to view an example(s) of your painting(s). These can be sent via text or email along with a very brief explanation of your vision for the work and what areas in which you are struggling. This will be a great help for me to better understand how to work with you and your piece.

For our initial meeting, you can use a work in progress or we can start with a blank canvas. During our session you are welcome to paint and try out my suggestions. You can resend and rework your piece as many times as you'd like during this time slot. Each time, I will offer advice and observations to assist you in creating your work of art.
